Brad Keselowski was evaluated and released after a hard Turn 1 crash while testing at Watkins Glen. Keselowski tweeted that he had posted the fastest lap of the session just prior to losing the brakes. His car hit a wrapped tire barrier that was in front of an Armco barrier at the track. The front end of the car was destroyed and the team pulled out a backup for the remainder of the two-day test.
