Brad Keselowski won the GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway for his 2nd win of the season. Kyle Busch finished 2nd, followed by Austin Dillon, Chase Elliott, Jamie McMurray, Kurt Busch, Tony Stewart, Clint Bowyer, Ryan Blaney, and Trevor Bayne. Despite the threat of rain, the race was was run the full distance without any issues. There were 10 cautions, including one for a large wreck that collected 17 cars.
