2014 outlook: Two-time Camping World Truck Series champion Germain Racing continues to make progress in the Sprint Cup Series. Casey Mears improved five places in the standings (to 24th place) and notched 20 top-25 finishes. Quotable: "Richard Childress and RCR have an extremely competitive program with a long history of winning races and championships. They have great people and tremendous resources, which will allow us to continue to improve our GEICO team's performance in 2014 and beyond." -- Bob Germain Jr.
Quotable: "Bob and his team have worked very hard to become one of the better single-car teams over the past few years and we are looking to build on what they've already achieved. They've proven they can be winners by what they did in the Camping World Truck Series. Bob is an asset to this sport for wanting to improve the team's performance and take them to the next level. We also look forward to having Casey back in the RCR family." -- Richard Childress
Casey Mears (#13 GEICO Chevrolet): "It was nice to finally get on the track and turn some laps. The test went really well and our Chevrolet SS felt great. All of the guys on our Germain Racing team did a great job in the offseason getting prepared to start 2014. It was nice to see some familiar faces at RCR and that relationship seems to be working out well. I can't wait to get back to Daytona for Speedweeks."
2014 goal: Top 20 in championship
