Bob Osborne will miss the action this weekend at Daytona International Speedway because of the death of his father.

Chip Bolin will serve as crew chief on No. 99 Fastenal Ford with Carl Edwards in Osborne's absence. Bolin is the head engineer for Roush Fenway Racing.

Osborne will return next week as Edwards' crew chief in the Gatorade Duels and Daytona 500.
