Drew Blickensderfer returns to Ford

Drew Blickensderfer has been named the new crew chief for Marcos Ambrose at Richard Petty Motorsports.
It will be a return to Ford for Blickensderfer, who spent this season as Jeff Burton's crew chief at Richard Childress Racing.
It was announced Monday that Luke Lambert will be Burton's crew chief in 2013. Shane Wilson will be Burton's interim crew chief for the final three races of this year's Chase.
Blickensderfer, who spent most of his career with Roush Fenway Racing, will replace Mike Ford, who no longer is with the organization.
Ambrose is in the final year of his contract with RPM, but recently told ESPN.com he was close to signing a new deal.
