The NHRA will increase from 23 to 24 events in 2013 and will assume a new series name to go with a renewed title sponsorship agreement for Coca-Cola, NHRA officials announced Wednesday in Indianapolis.

The official series title in 2013 changes to the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series.
NHRA officials also announced the 2013 schedule, which includes the inaugural New England Nationals at New England Dragway in Eppling, N.H., from June 20-23.
The 2013 season begins in Pomona, Calif., for the 54th time with the O'Reilly Auto Parts NHRA Winternationals at Auto Club Raceway from Feb. 14-17.
