Class 2004 running back Jamaal Edwards, a Top 150 prospect from Greensboro-Dudley, NC., has committed to Florida State over North Carolina, Clemson, Florida, Miami-Florida, Virginia and Tennessee, among many others. He rushed for 2387 yards and 31 touchdowns as a junior.
Top 150 running back/defensive back Andrew Johnson, a Class 2004 prospect from Pittsburgh-North Hills, Pa., has chosen Pittsburgh over Ohio State. Among other offers were Iowa, Wisconsin, Virginia Tech and UCLA.
The LSU Tigers have pledged Class 2004 defensive lineman Claude Wroten of Bastrop, La/Mississippi Delta CC, Miss., over Florida State, Florida, Miami-Florida, Tennessee, Texaa A&M and Mississippi State, among many others.
Kentucky pledged Class 2004 linebacker/defensive lineman Tedd Bullock of Lucasville-Valley, Ohio.
Maryland pledged Class 2004 defensive back Richard Taylor of Clifton-Centreville, Md., over Georgia Tech, North Carolina State and Pittsburgh, among others.
