Tracy expected to file appeal by Monday

Tracy MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- Barry Green still believes Paul Tracy captured the 86th Indianapolis 500 and ESPN.com has learned he will file an official appeal Monday with Tony George, Indy Racing League founder and Indianapolis Motor Speedway president.

George can rule himself or form a committee to hear the appeal and Monday is the deadline for Green to file his appeal.

At stake is more than a million dollars in prize money and the most prestigious prize in open wheel racing.
