Gallstones suspected as Unser is held overnight
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Four-time Indianapolis 500 winner Al Unser was hospitalized Tuesday night with suspected gallstones.
"He's going to spend the night, but there's nothing life-threatening," said his brother, Bobby Unser.
Al Unser complained of abdominal pains while changing a flat tire on his motor home during a drive to California last week. He was examined Thursday at a hospital in Winslow, Ariz., then returned to Albuquerque.
