Austin Dillon loses points lead
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- NASCAR has penalized Austin Dillon because his car failed inspection following his Nationwide Series win at Kentucky, dropping him out of the points lead.
Dillon was docked six points in the standings Monday, going from two points up on Elliott Sadler in the Nationwide standings to down by four points.
Crew chief Danny Stockman Jr. was fined $10,000, and car owner Morgan Shepherd was also docked six points.
