Brian Dennehy (Bobby Knight)
Brian attended Columbia
University and made his New York stage debut at age 37. Early in
his career, he worked on TV movies before making his way to bit
parts in films. Soon, his overwhelming presence and Irish charm
earned him leading roles, oftentimes cracking heads as a cop or a
military man in movies like F/X, Cocoon, 10, and even chasing a
very angry Sylvester Stallone all over a mountain in Rambo: First
Blood. More recently, Dennehy has spent more time TV acting and
directing but still had time to make a cameo in one of the all-time
classics, Tommy Boy. Dennehy has appeared in over 110 movies
or television shows. He's shown up in tons of TV shows, from
Just Shoot Me to Dynasty to Kojak to his own series, The
Fightin Fitzgeralds. Before jumping into the red sweater for Bobby
Knight, Dennehy won the Tony Award for his performance in Arthur
Miller's Death of a Salesman.
