Rimando makes eight saves in United's tie

NAPERVILLE, Ill. (AP) -- D.C. United's Nick Rimando made eight saves as D.C. and the Chicago Fire tied 0-0 Saturday night.

Rimando stopped a kick by Ante Razov from 20 yards in the first overtime period.

Chicago goalie Zach Thornton made four stops against the defense-oriented United.

Razov entered the game at the start of the second half, replacing Fire defender Kelly Gray.

Chicago's Hristo Stoitchkov played his first game since suffering a ligament sprain in his right knee on May 11, substituting for Billy Walsh at the start of overtime.
