Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Robert Guerrero

Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Robert Guerrero are scheduled to to meet in a welterweight title bout on May 4, 2013 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Guerrero will be defending his WBC welterweight title. This is the first fight for Mayweather under a six-fight deal with Showtime PPV.

Mayweather enters the fight with a perfect 43-0 record. He will be fighting for the first time since a unanimous decision victory over Miguel Cotto on May 5, 2012. This will be the fourth time since 2007 that Mayweather has headlined a fight card in Las Vegas on the first Saturday in May. Guerrero enters with a record of 31-1-1 and has won his last eight bouts since a 2009 no-contest against Daud Cino Yordan.

The undercard features a featherweight championship bout between Daniel Ponce de Leon and Abner Mares.
