NEW YORK -- A year ago, he was the 20-year-old, ascendant, fresh-faced darling of the crowd here at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

His hilarious, dead-on impressions of Maria Sharapova and Rafael Nadal, enabled by USA Network reporter Michael Barkann, had a night audience on its feet, cheering and laughing so hard that some had tears in their eyes.
