Is it a pitchers' game once more?

The statistics say yes. Starting pitchers managed a 4.15 ERA in 2010, and pitchers as a whole registered a 4.08 ERA, both of those numbers the lowest in any single season since 1992. Pitchers as a whole also averaged 7.13 strikeouts per nine innings and limited opposing hitters to .146 isolated power (slugging percentage minus batting average), both of those numbers better than in any season since the 1994 strike.
