NFL star has interest in Schuylerville

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- National Football League wide receiver Wes Welker may have more important things on his mind at the moment than a horse race. But you can bet Welker's attention will be riveted on Saratoga shortly before 5 p.m. on Friday when Gypsy Robin, a 2-year-old filly he owns a minority share in along with trainer Wesley Ward and Gatewood Bell, goes postward as one of the favorites in the Grade 3 Schuylerville Stakes.
