Zab Judah seeks respect, title shot

Former champ plans to climb over Vernon Paris on Saturday to reach the top again

There have been many chapters in the up-and-down career of Zab Judah, and now he hopes to write a new one with a happier ending than the previous one.

The former undisputed welterweight champion and three-time junior welterweight titleholder closed his most recent chapter in forgettable fashion when he was dominated, then knocked out in the fifth round with a body shot -- Judah claims it was a low blow -- by Amir Khan in a 140-pound title unification bout in Las Vegas.
