California holds off Connecticut

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- After a hard-earned win Thursday, the team from Petaluma, Calif., got two days off to get ready for its next game at the Little League World Series.

Thirteen-year-old Austin Paretti had other plans.
