Muhammad Ali publicist dies at 82

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -- Tom Kenville, the former Associated Press and New York Times sports writer who served as a publicist for Muhammad Ali, has died. He was 82.

Kenville died Tuesday at Susquehanna Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a long battle with cancer, nephew Mark Kenville said Wednesday.

In addition to his sports writing jobs, Kenville was a member of the boxing promotion department at Madison Square Garden, a publicist for Top Rank Boxing, and served as the official scorekeeper ...
