Belle of the Hall wins Belmont's Valor Lady

NEW YORK -- Belle of the Hall rallied to beat Agave Kiss by a neck Wednesday in the $76,000 Valor Lady Stakes for fillies and mares at Belmont Park.

Originally scheduled for the turf with 14 entrants, the race was switched to the muddy main track and only four contested the seven-furlong race. The betting interests dwindled to three when Belle of the Hall was mistakenly announced as a scratch.
