Creative Cause retired at Airdrie

Grade 1-winning millionaire Creative Cause, last seen finishing third in the May 19 Preakness Stakes, has been retired and will begin his new career as a stallion at Airdrie Stud, it was announced Monday.

"I couldn't believe more strongly that Creative Cause is as good a stallion prospect as we've put in the Airdrie stallion barn," said Brereton Jones, owner of the Midway, Kentucky, establishment.
