Alberto Contador's fine settled

LAUSANNE, Switzerland -- Alberto Contador and the International Cycling Union have reached an undisclosed financial agreement after the governing body tried to impose a $3.1 million fine for his positive doping test at the 2010 Tour de France.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport says it "has been informed of an amicable settlement between the UCI and A. Contador regarding this issue."
The court says it has "terminated the arbitration" between the parties.
