USA Cycling to train in Netherlands
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- USA Cycling has signed a 10-year agreement with a municipality in the Netherlands to consolidate its training base for road, mountain bike, track and cyclo-cross racing.
The facility in the Limburg municipality of Sittard-Geleen will be used year-round by about 130 athletes, USA Cycling vice president Jim Miller said Friday. Previously, the men's endurance programs were based in Belgium, the women in Italy and the mountain bike program in Germany.
