Oxbow, Golden Soul work

Preakness Stakes winner Oxbow, stablemate Will Take Charge, and Kentucky Derby runner-up Golden Soul all turned in preparations for the June 8 Belmont Stakes on the morning of May 30 at Churchill Downs.

Oxbow and Will Take Charge both went six furlongs for Hall of Fame trainer D. Wayne Lukas. Oxbow, a son of Awesome Again owned by Calumet Farm, clocked the distance in 1:14 3/5 from the 5 ½-furlong pole with splits of :24 1/5, :35 4/5, :47 3/5, and 1:00 3/5. He galloped out seven ...
