Jorge Arce ends retirement

Jorge Arce, the popular Mexican brawler who won world titles in four weight classes and an interim title in a fifth, is ending his retirement after less than a year on the sidelines.

Arce is coming out of retirement to face William Prado of Brazil in a scheduled 10-round featherweight bout in Veracruz, Mexico, on Nov. 16, Zanfer Promotions announced Tuesday.

Arce (61-7-2, 46 KOs) is just 34 but has had a career filled with action-packed slugfests in which he has taken enormous punishment.
