Argentina announces friendly vs. Brazil
BUENOS AIRES, Argentina -- Argentina will face Brazil in an exhibition game on June 9 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
It will mark the second straight year Argentina will play at the Meadowlands, following a 1-1 tie against the United States last March.
The Argentina Football Association made no comment about the makeup of the rosters, although high-profile venues usually ask for the presence of the top team, including Lionel Messi, FIFA's three-time player of the year.
Argentina also will play Saudi Arabia in Riyadh on Nov. 14.
Argentina is scheduled to play Switzerland in Bern on Feb. 29. The South Americans have announced a match with Germany on Aug. 15, but a venue has not been confirmed.
