LONDON -- England's Football Association has fined West Ham midfielder Ravel Morrison $11,000 for using a gay slur on Twitter.
The FA says Morrison was "warned as to his future conduct after he admitted a charge of using abusive and/or insulting words including a reference to a person's sexual orientation."
The 19-year-old Morrison posted the tweet shortly after joining West Ham from Manchester United last month.
