PARIS -- Andrea Collarini is one victory away from becoming the first American since John McEnroe in 1977 to win the French Open boys' title.
The 18-year-old Collarini, who trains at the U.S. Tennis Association center in Boca Raton, Fla., reached the final Friday at Roland Garros by defeating Duilio Beretta of Peru 6-3, 6-3.
Collarini was born in New York, but grew up in Argentina before moving to Florida and representing the United States.
He will meet Agustin Velotti of Argentina in Sunday's final.
Ons Jabeur of Tunisia will face Elina Svitolina of Ukraine in the girls' final.
