Salerni, Llagostera Vives advance to Copa Colsanitas final

BOGOTA, Colombia -- Argentina's Maria Emilia Salerni overcame Spanish qualifier Carla Suarez Navarro 3-6, 7-6 (3), 6-3 to reach her first WTA Tour final at the Copa Colsanitas on Saturday.

On Sunday the 12-year pro will face another Spanish qualifier, Nuria Llagostera Vives, who reached her second final by dispatching Betina Jozami of Argentina 6-2, 6-2.

Salerni leads the series with Llagostera Vives 2-1.

Llagostera Vives won her only previous final at Rabat, Morocco in 2005.

She overcame 10 double-faults to beat fellow qualifier Jozami, who was playing in her first WTA main draw and knocked out top-seeded Flavia Pennetta and ninth-seeded Martina Muller.

Jozami also squandered 11 of 12 break points.
