Davydenko, Monaco, Garnollers, Korolev advance

WARSAW, Poland -- Top-seeded Nikolay Davydenko rallied past Jiri Vanek 4-6, 7-5, 6-1 on Wednesday to reach the quarterfinals of the Warsaw Open.

Davydenko, who won in 2006, broke Vanek's serve five times and will face fellow Russian Evgeny Korolev, who advanced when Potito Starace retired with a headache while trailing 7-5, 4-0.

Third-seeded Juan Monaco also advanced by topping Florent Serra 7-5, 6-3, and Marcel Granollers defeated Marcos Daniel 6-2, 6-4.
