Mercury exercise option on coach

Sandy Brondello had her 2016 option picked up by the team. She was hired in 2013 and led the Mercury to a league-record 29 wins and a WNBA title in her first season. Said Brondello: "I know where I'll be for the next two years, and I'm excited to be here. ... Hopefully, I'm here even longer than that."
