Top Super Bowl Plays - Offense

Super Bowl XL in Detroit is rapidly approaching, and while everyone is looking ahead to this year's big game NFL PrimeTime and SportsNation are taking a look back, too. PrimeTime has come up with a list of the top 40 plays in Super Bowl history and the citizens of SportsNation will pick No. 1, to be announced live on-air from Detroit.

We've divided our list into offense and defense/special teams, and listed below are PrimeTime's top offensive plays. All the bases are covered, from Max McGee scoring the first touchdown in Super Bowl history, to Lynn Swann's (above) virtuoso performance in Super Bowl X, to quarterbacks like Joe Montana, Brett Favre and John Elway working their magic.

Defining moments, fortuitous bounces and even some moments of agony -- they're all on the ballot. Simply scroll through the list and vote for your top five offensive plays from the NFL's biggest games. Then tune in to NFL PrimeTime on Saturday, Feb. 4 to see which play America chooses as the best in Super Bowl history.
