We've reached the midway point of the NBA season and there are some serious logjams in the conference standings. In particular, the positions that represent that final playoff spots will be hotly contested in the season's final three months.

In the Eastern Conference, teams like the Indiana Pacers continue to struggle, while the Orlando Magic attempt to climb into the playoff picture. Meanwhile, the Western Conference currently features perennial playoff squads like the Sacramento Kings and Minnesota Timberwolves on the outside looking in.
