SportsNation didn't have quite as bad a weekend as California, which took a top-five ranking to Oregon and came out on the wrong end of a 42-3 rout. But it wasn't much better.
After missing just seven total games through the first three weeks of the college football season, voters doubled that total in one weekend. Cal's loss, predicted by just 26 percent of SportsNation, was part of the problem, but that was nothing compared to the 93 percent of voters who picked Florida State to beat South Florida. More than ever, it seems neither a ranking nor home field guarantees anything in college football.
Another week of potential pitfalls awaits, so cast your votes now and watch "College GameDay" on ESPN, Saturdays at 10 a.m. ET, to see which teams Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit think will win the following games.
