The latest ballot for the Baseball Hall of Fame is out, headlined by first-time candidates Roberto Alomar, Barry Larkin, Edgar Martinez and Fred McGriff, along with some increasingly familiar holdovers like Bert Blyleven and Andre Dawson.
After a very lengthy wait, Jim Rice earned enshrinement last year in his final year of eligibility with voters from the Baseball Writers Association of America. Should Blyleven or Dawson follow a similar path this time around? And which first-timers deserves the nod?
