Buzzmaster (11:12 AM)
Helloooooooo again! We'll be back on Thursday with more players stopping by to take your questions! We'll get started at approximately 1 ET!
Buzzmaster (12:19 PM)
Tennessee OL Cody Douglas is here!
Cody Douglas (12:21 PM)
Hello!
(manhattan, KS)
What's the strangest question you have been asked this week by an NFL team?
Cody Douglas (12:22 PM)
Have I ever had hateful thoughts towards my parents.
Chuckster
How long do you think it would take you to totally adjust to the NFL game?
Cody Douglas (12:22 PM)
Hopefully by the time my first NFL season starts after mini camps I will be ready to play.
David (Boston)
What's your Super Bowl pick?
Cody Douglas (12:23 PM)
Pittsburgh. They are more physical than Seattle.
Mallof
Have thet NFL coaches told you anything this week that really surprised you or made you think, "wow, that's why this guy is in the NFL".
Cody Douglas (12:23 PM)
Not really. All of them are very experienced and have a great knowledge of the game. Just their presence lets you know why they are an NFL coach.
Matt (New York)
Can the Steelers stop Alexander when the Seahawks spread the field and force the Steelers into nickel coverage?
Cody Douglas (12:24 PM)
Yes. I think Pittsburgh will come out with a great defensive scheme just like they have all playoffs.
Jackson - tuscaloosa
Do you think juniors who declare should be able to play in this game?
Cody Douglas (12:25 PM)
I don't think so. It would take the mystique away from this game as being a true Senior Bowl. This game helps us have an edge over the juniors that have declared.
Tyson (NY)
How badly do you want to win this game? Or is it more about showing what your abiltites are?
Cody Douglas (12:26 PM)
It is about showing my abilities but as a natural competitor you want to win. Always. It's a game, North vs. South, and you have to want to win everytime you step on the field.
Joseph (Virginia)
Who would win a fight between a grizzly bear and a mountain lion?
Cody Douglas (12:26 PM)
I think a grizzly bear. If he can get one swipe in, he would win.
Buzzmaster (12:27 PM)
Laid any good hits this week?
Cody Douglas (12:27 PM)
I got in a couple! Down there in the trenches you are bound to hit somebody. I've got my fair share in.
Eric (Albuquerque)
How is it knowing that everythng you do this week has is going to affect your draft status?
Cody Douglas (12:28 PM)
Absolutely. But you just have to hope you are doing the right things that will have a positive impact.
Brandon (Cincinnati)
What is the hardest part about being a college offensive linemen?
Cody Douglas (12:28 PM)
In my program, my head coach was an ex OL coach so the scrutiny was higher on us. It was very high pressure.
Mike (Greenville)
Which NFL lineman would you most like to line up against?
Cody Douglas (12:29 PM)
Probably Brinston Buckner.
jon (new jersy)
which team would you like to play for the most
Cody Douglas (12:29 PM)
Growing up I was a huge Houston Oilers can. I'm still a fan of Houston and the Texans.
Mike, Missouri
You like pass blocking or run blocking more?
Cody Douglas (12:30 PM)
I like run blocking because it is more aggressive and I'm at my best when I'm the most aggressive.
Jo (Tennessee)
First, I wanted to say good luck to you. Secondly, how are you adjusting to new scheme and matching up with better talents from around the nation?
Cody Douglas (12:30 PM)
I think I adjusted well to the scheme. The defenses can't blitz so it makes it a lot easier. I've adjusted well to the speed and I'm holding my own. I like not having the blitz, a lot!
Cody Douglas (12:31 PM)
Thanks for the questions and all the support. I really appreciate it. I'm going to go eat lunch now.
Buzzmaster (12:32 PM)
Thanks, Cody. How's everyone doing? We got started a little early this morning. Everyone awake?
Mike (Greenville)
Just got out of classes, still not awake though haha
Mark (Bowling Green)
Buzzy, got in a fender bender last night, trying to type a question to you.
Buzzmaster (12:34 PM)
Sorry to hear that.
Mike, Missouri
Who's up next today?
Buzzmaster (12:36 PM)
Today is kind of a free for all where we'll be grabbing guys as we can. Matter of fact, lemme go cruise the lobby again real quick and see who is floating around.
Buzzmaster (12:44 PM)
Hey guys ... Tennessee DE Parys Haralson is here!
Parys Haralson (12:44 PM)
Hey guys.
Buzzmaster (12:44 PM)
So, how has your week been?
Parys Haralson (12:45 PM)
It's been going well. Just being here with the best is great. I want to showcase my talents as best I can and I think I've been doing that.
Aaron PHX
Since you spents the last few years in Knoxville who became your favorite country star?
Parys Haralson (12:45 PM)
Don't have a country favorite. Don't listen to it!
Pat (worcester MA)
Hey who is the best offensive lineman that you have gone up against there?
Parys Haralson (12:46 PM)
There have been some reallly good ones like Marcus McNeill. I usually face all tackles.
Jonathan (NYC)
Which Pro QB would you like to sack the most?
Parys Haralson (12:47 PM)
Hmm.. I really don't know. Probably Rex Grossman because he beat us my sophomore year.
Mike, Missouri
How does it feel knowing that you will be drafted and in the NFL next year?
Parys Haralson (12:47 PM)
It hasn't sunk in yet. I still feel like I'm in college based on some of the things I say and do.
Aaron PHX
So what are ya gonna do on draft day? Have a party a watch it or just take it easy and dont even pay attention to it?
Parys Haralson (12:48 PM)
No party. I'll just be chillin' with my family.
John from Philly
who do you prefer- j lo or beyonce?
Parys Haralson (12:48 PM)
Beyonce.
Mike, Missouri
Steelers or Seahawks?
Parys Haralson (12:49 PM)
I'm going with Seattle because Chris Spencer, my high school teammate, plays for them.
Rich(Phoenix)
Where do you see yourself going in the draft?
Parys Haralson (12:49 PM)
I really don't know. I want to go as high as possible but it's a true honor to play for any NFL team.
Dave form Willow Grove PA
Would you rather sack a qb or intercept a pass?
Parys Haralson (12:50 PM)
Sacking a QB!
Ryno (Statesville, NC)
About how much playing time do you expect to get on saturday?
Parys Haralson (12:50 PM)
I really don't know. They will even it out so we all get the same time.
Jacob Seattle
Who DO you Think most inspired you to be a DE?
Parys Haralson (12:51 PM)
That's hard to say. I just grew up wanting to play football. As long as I can remember.
Matt- Trenton NJ
any teams show a lot of interest in you?
Parys Haralson (12:51 PM)
I can't tell. Everyone is doing the same interviews so I'm just trying to do my best.
Os (Jersey)
what NFL DE do you think your game resembles the most?
Parys Haralson (12:52 PM)
Dwight Freeney! Thanks for your questions!
Buzzmaster (12:52 PM)
Thanks, Parys! It's lunchtime around here so guys are hungry! But we're just getting started so stick around all day!
Buzzmaster (12:56 PM)
We'll also have Scouts, Inc's Todd McShay dropping by again to break down the players.
Sean DC
There is no Chris Benson that plays for the Seahawks....
Buzzmaster (12:56 PM)
Hmm, maybe somebody should tell Parys?
Jason(Ks)
do the NFL teams have booths to talk to them or is it just a free for all and they find you?
Buzzmaster (12:56 PM)
The lobby is one giant booth.
Russ (Dubuque)
How was Dreamland BBQ last night?
Buzzmaster (1:04 PM)
Even better than the first visit. Wow.
Frank the tank- Harrison College
hey buzzmaster, any female scouts?
Buzzmaster (1:06 PM)
Good question. Haven't seen any.
Matthew (Omaha)
Buzz.....are you eating lunch now....the chat has really slowed down.
Buzzmaster (1:16 PM)
Sorry, was out trying to find guys. It's sort a down time because guys are either eating or sleeping. But it will pick up. Trying to get McShay to come on. He just got back from practice.
Alex (Palm Harbor, FL)
If there aren't any players or experts imminently due, what does everyone think of Mario Williams and/or Haloti Ngata?
Dave (Athens, AL)
You mentioned Ivan Maisel was going to be on Finebaum this week. What day is that going to happen.
Buzzmaster (1:18 PM)
Friday.
Greg Green Bay
I like Ngata, and would like to see him or Hawk in the Green and Gold next season.
Dave (Hollywood)
I did not see much of Williams, but Ngata was very good in the middle. I wonder how his injury from the Holiday Bowl will affect him.
Os (Jersey)
I've been reading a lot of comparisons of super Mario to Peppers...
Nick (Dover, Pa)
Maio Williams will be a stud. He's huge and fast, he's going to be great.
RIch(Phx)
I think Mario Williams is a stud, pure athletic talent. Will be a force his rookie season.
Buzzmaster (1:21 PM)
Stanford DL Julian Jenkins is here! He just got here two days ago from Orange County! He got a call at 8pm and was on a plane the next morning at 6am!
Julian Jenkins (1:22 PM)
Hey everyone!
Buzzmaster (1:22 PM)
Are you tired?
Julian Jenkins (1:23 PM)
I feel comfortable. As soon as I put on the helmet and shoulder pads it's like normal. I just go out there and play football. But Wednesday's practice was tough for sure. I'm playing against the best of the best.
Josh M
How much cramming have you had to do to make up for lost time and learn the schemes?
Julian Jenkins (1:23 PM)
We try to keep it simple. It's a base defense like the one we ran at Stanford. It wasn't too hard to adjust.
Jayson (NY)
Julian, which NFL player do you hope to be like?
Julian Jenkins (1:24 PM)
Reggie White. On and off the field he was the best. A good character guy and he had passion for the game.
VC (Tempe)
Julian, You and Mike Vick in the open field, do you think you can tackle him and if so, do you go for the legs or go for the chest?
Julian Jenkins (1:25 PM)
I'm working as hard as I can and going up high!
Matthew (Omaha)
Why the late call up? Who did you replace?
Julian Jenkins (1:25 PM)
I don't know who I replaced.
Gotto (Loras College)
What aspect of the pro life are you most looking forward to?
Julian Jenkins (1:26 PM)
Probably just the game. Being on the field with so many great players. Knowing you are a pro at the top of your game is exciting.
Russ (Dubuque)
What were you thinking in the closing minutes of the Notre Dame game, coming so close to a huge upset?
Julian Jenkins (1:26 PM)
We have to stop them!! This play is going to win the game for us! Get off the field!
James (Wisconsin)
How tough was it physically playing UCLA and USC back to back?
Julian Jenkins (1:27 PM)
USC was a lot better team than UCLA. I was knicked up in the USC game but overall USC is much better than the Bruins this year.
Aaron PHX
So you definitely have to be the smartest guy there being from Stanford right? Or is it Baba?
Julian Jenkins (1:27 PM)
Baba is the smartest here.
Wade (Washington, DC)
We all know Cutler's got skills, but what's your read on his attitude?
Julian Jenkins (1:28 PM)
I think the receivers like him, the OL likes him, eveyone here seems to like him. He seems like a pretty good guy.
Kris (utah)
Which USC back do you think will have a better pro career Bush or White
Julian Jenkins (1:28 PM)
Reggie Bush.
RG (Iowa)
Who was your favorite QB to sack?
Julian Jenkins (1:29 PM)
I would say Carson Palmer! Just because he was such a big name.
Tallahassee
What's your favorite aspect of Football? Teammates? The Crowd? The Adrenaline Rush?
Julian Jenkins (1:30 PM)
The contact! Banging heads! Ever since I was small, that's what it's always been about. You have to love being physical to play this game! Thanks for the questions!
Buzzmaster (1:31 PM)
Thanks, Julian. Hey, Michigan WR Jason Avant is here!
Jason Avant (1:31 PM)
Hello!
Jermaine (TX)
Which NFL coach would you most like to work with?
Jason Avant (1:32 PM)
I haven't met to many of them yet. I just need a jersey. It doesn't matter who the coach is.
RIch(PHX)
Do you consider yourself the best WR in the draft? Why?
Jason Avant (1:33 PM)
I would say I am one of the best. I don't think anybody is better than me. But I won't say I'm the best.
Matt : TH
You stay in contact with Braylon Edwards anymore?
Jason Avant (1:33 PM)
Yeah, I talk to him every now and again. He's rehabbing and doing just fine. He should have a very productive year. He's still wearing pink shirts.
SPV Ohio
As fans we look forward to every sunday. Do you watch nfl games on sunday or do you just unwind from the college game the day before?
Jason Avant (1:34 PM)
I was going to church on Sunday's and we had practice from 3-10 on Sunday.
Mani (Grand Rapids, MI)
Many of the scouts have been saying that you are strictly a possession reciever, would you agree with that?
Jason Avant (1:35 PM)
I don't really know what a possession receiver is. I just catch it consistently. I'm not a possession guy or a big play guy .. I'm everything combined.
Ben (Dyersville, IA)
What aspect of the NFL life are you most looking forward to?
Jason Avant (1:35 PM)
Just playing. I don't plan on taking part in too much else or anything that is against the Bible.
Heidi, Foxboro
Does it annoy you just as much as everyone else that OSU insists on saying THE ohio state university?
Jason Avant (1:36 PM)
That is so arrogant. But they have to make themselves feel better because they know they are the second best school in the Big Ten.
Mike, Naples
You guys practiced from 3-10 on Sundays? Holy Crap!
Jason Avant (1:37 PM)
Yes. All day long. All day long. Getting yelled at and screamed at all day on Sunday.
Jay (Providence)
What's the most ridiculous thing you've had to do this week?
Jason Avant (1:38 PM)
It's been pretty normal. Nothing too weird. It just seems like everybody thinks they are a phsycologist around here. If something happened to you when you are 2, they try to related it to 2006.
Adam (WI)
Did you mean the second best school in the big ten Behind the Badgers??
Jason Avant (1:39 PM)
The who?
Jim (MI)
What will be the first thing you buy after you are drafted?
Jason Avant (1:39 PM)
I don't plan on buying anything. I'm going ot keep my 2001 Cavalier with a dent in the side for a couple more years.
Nick (CA)
People say you're the next Hines Ward. How do you feel about that?
Jason Avant (1:40 PM)
That's a compliment. Hines is a great receiver. I just want to be that good. Hopefully I can play as intense as he does on Sundays.
Adam PA
Excuse me I seem to remember the Penn State was the one in the Orange bowl?
Jason Avant (1:41 PM)
Once in 10 years. That's great.
Matt : TH
Whats your prediction for your 40 time at the combine?
Jason Avant (1:41 PM)
4.4.
Russell (Loras, Dubuque)
Have you and Steve Breaston ever gone one-on-one and see if you could cover each other?
Jason Avant (1:41 PM)
Ah yes. We do that all the time. I win EVERY time. Seriously. EVERY time. We go best of five. He hasn't won a series on me yet.
Russell (Iowa)
What number do you plan on getting in the NFL, since 8 won't be available?
Jason Avant (1:42 PM)
I don't really like 80's so I would like to stay in the teen's. Something that no one else has hopefully. The only number I do like is 81 or 82.
Crystal - Florida
I think your very sexy! Will you marry me?
Jason Avant (1:43 PM)
I'm saving myself for the one Jesus bring me. Thanks for the compliment. Keep you mind on God.
Chris (Platteville, Wisconsin)
Who is the better reciever, you or Sinorice Moss?
Jason Avant (1:44 PM)
I haven't seen him play yet so I can't say I'm better. One thing I do know is that joker is fast. As far as his all-around skills I'm not sure.
R. Anthony (Tri-State)
What was your favorite pro team as a kid?
Jason Avant (1:45 PM)
The Bears!
Crystal - Florida
That's good to know that your such a stong Christian. I need a man like you!
Jason Avant (1:46 PM)
If you wait on God, he will give you the desires of your heart. The key is to wait.
BK-The Burger King
What do you think of my amazing commercials? Do you think you could cover me? Or could I cover you?
Jason Avant (1:46 PM)
You're too good! I can't cover you! You move like lightning! Thanks for the questions. Nick Mangold sucks. But he's next up.
Nick Mangold (1:47 PM)
What's up?
Jim (MI)
What will you miss most about college?
Nick Mangold (1:48 PM)
The fact that you are leaving all your boys behind that you spent four years with.
Aaron PHX
I heard you laid the smack down on a guy from OU. What was the disagreement about?
Nick Mangold (1:48 PM)
Nothing too much. Just a little extracuriccular activity after the play. The helmet came off so I had to back off a bit.
Wade (Nashville)
What has been the hardest part of the week so far?
Nick Mangold (1:49 PM)
Probably just not having any real time. You are always busy and going from practice to meetings to interviews. I'm trying to keep everything straight.
Mike (Florence, MS)
Nick, how awesome is Ted Ginn? Future superstar?
Nick Mangold (1:50 PM)
I think he will be. He already is. Hopefully he keeps his head down and keeps working hard.
Ryan (NJ)
Hey Nick, good luck to you at the next level. How did PSU compare to Texas, since you played both this year?
Nick Mangold (1:50 PM)
I thought PSU was actually better on defense. They gave us more problems. But either way, they were both great teams and that's why they finished in the top five.
Shawn (Oakland)
Who is the best OL you have played alongside so far at senior bowl?
Nick Mangold (1:51 PM)
It's been a blast playing with Davin Joseph. He's a heck of a guard and has great feet. It's been great playing with him.
Luke (VA)
How does it feel being called a "devastating downfield blocker"?
Nick Mangold (1:52 PM)
It's awfully nice and appreciated. Hopefully I can keep it true.
Kris (ut)
What are you looking forward to most about beind drafted and moving on to the NFL
Nick Mangold (1:52 PM)
That I can keep playing for at least one more year and hopefully many more.
Wade (Nashville)
Super Bowl prediction?
Nick Mangold (1:53 PM)
I'm not very good at predictions. That's tough. I don't know. Whenever I pick they lose so I should probably stay out of it.
mike(Philly)
How good did it feel to make ND look so bad
Nick Mangold (1:54 PM)
It wasn't so much making them look bad but just making sure we won. It was an unbelievable feeling. Thanks for the questions! Michigan still sucks.
Buzzmaster (1:57 PM)
Thanks, Nick! Michigan and Ohio State both suck! Haaaaaaa! Just kidding. Don't hurt me.
Buzzmaster (2:01 PM)
Hang on. Not sure who is up next. Working on it at the moment.
John (chicago)
Buzzy, where did you eat last night?
Buzzmaster (2:04 PM)
Return trip to Dreamland with Ivan Maisel. Buzz's partner just made a run to the Little Kitchen here in downtown Mobile. That place rocks.
Buzzmaster (2:06 PM)
We're still aiming for Brodie Croyle but he is in practice until 4;15 ET so he would have to be after that.
Adam (Rochester MN)
Buzzy, how bout a link to the Senior Bowl Rosters?
Buzzmaster (2:07 PM)
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/draft06/news/story?id=2304158
Buzzmaster (2:11 PM)
Just got the call from the Little Kitchen .. country fried steak, mashed potatoes with gravy and fried okra. And pie. It's on the way!
aok (ny, ny)
seems like you eat that everyday now?
Buzzmaster (2:15 PM)
It's right around the corner. Nice and quick.
Buzzmaster (2:18 PM)
Hey, we'll also have Senior Bowl Media Relations director Vic Knight stopping by this afternoon. He can clear up your questions about which players are at the Senior Bowl, which ones aren't and why.
Will B. (Va Beach)
do you hear alot of Brodie, Brodie! going on there?
Buzzmaster (2:21 PM)
Funny you should ask ... Buzz's partner just got back from the Little Kitchen. The girl who works the counter, dishing out the scrumptious chicken fried steak, was going on and on about how Brodie was just there having an early lunch and how she took pictures with her phone and had him sign something and how cute he was .. and she even did a full 360 spin as she was giggling. So, I guess that qualifies.
Rich (NY)
How much do you get paid buzz?
Buzzmaster (2:26 PM)
I get paid in fried foods and mashed potatoes.
Matt (ATL)
Buzz, are you going to the SuperBowl ?
Buzzmaster (2:29 PM)
Yes. Wish I could take the Little Kitchen with me.
John (Cincinnati)
Does your tax refund come in the form of apple pie?
Buzzmaster (2:30 PM)
Yes, but it's a really small piece.
Mike
Senior Bowl practice just started on ESPN!!!!
Wade (Nashville)
Is there any chance we could get one of the coaches on here, Buzz?
Buzzmaster (2:37 PM)
Most of the coaches are gone. They're usually only here Monday-Wednesday.
Mat (Scottsdale, AZ)
*Buzz's partner* as in you're going to New Hampshire to get married partner?
Buzzmaster (2:38 PM)
Sorry, bad choice of words. It's actually GameDay Buzz. You may remember him for Saturday's during the season. He's like Buzz Jr.
Dave form Willow Grove PA
The draft seems to be more popular every year. Does anyone else notcie that?
Buzzmaster (2:40 PM)
Yes, every TV executive from here to Alaska.
Buzzmaster (2:45 PM)
Just a reminder that Mel Kiper will be here at 1 ET tomorrow to break down the week. We just got his one-liners on every guy, top performers, busts, etc. That will go up on the site Friday.
Henri (Africa)
BUZZ, where's McShay? I have to ask him something.
Buzzmaster (2:47 PM)
He had to head back to afternoon proactice. Don't worry, he'll be on tomorrow after Kiper.
Biscuit (NY)
How much do scouts and coaches take from the ACTUAL GAME at the Senior Bowl? Is it all about the practices?
Buzzmaster (2:48 PM)
Not much. It's all about the practices and meeting them face to face. There is plenty of game film out there.
Buzzmaster (2:49 PM)
Hold on, gonna go scope out the lobby real quick. See who is around.
Mike (Memphis)
Buzz, is there a chance Mel Kieper might be on today???
Buzzmaster (2:56 PM)
Tomorrow at 1 ET.
Mike (Memphis)
For all of you Brodie fans.....the south is about to start warming up on ESPN!!!!
Buzzmaster (3:02 PM)
Sorry for the delay .. it will pick up before too long with guys stopping by. But practice is going on at the moment and the North Squad has a meeting.
Pat (Chicago)
Buzz, were you at the Senior Bowl last season? I was wondering if practices are just being held at Ladd Stadium. They used to get bussed over to Fairhope and back.
Buzzmaster (3:03 PM)
There was a split practice on Monday with one squad in Fairhope but the rest of the week everything is at Ladd.
Buzzmaster (3:04 PM)
Hold on, we might have Senior Bowl executive Vic Knight here to take some questions about who is here, who isn't, etc. Start sending your questions.
Buzzmaster (3:07 PM)
OK, Vic is here. He's the man to ask about the roster.
Senior Bowl's Vic Knight (3:08 PM)
Hello!
Doug (Houston)
The Senior Bowl will always stay the SENIOR Bowl right? I mean, theres no plans to add underclassmen for the sake of having a Vince Young to draw a bigger crowd?
Senior Bowl's Vic Knight (3:09 PM)
Certainly the game has sold out 12 years in a row so selling tickets and marketing is not a factor in player selection. It's a reward for players who have completed their eligibility and we plan to keep it that way.
aron
how do the coaches for the bowl get picked?
Senior Bowl's Vic Knight (3:11 PM)
Our relationship with the NFL allows coaching staffs for the game to be determined by the NFL draft order in that the teams with the first selections in the draft have the opportunity to coach the two Senior Bowl teams each year. Obviously this year we had Tennessee with the third overall selection and San Francisco who have the sixth or seventh depending on an upcoming coin flip. It's a big advantage for both the staff selected and the top players in the senior class who are here to be able to work with those teams that have high picks.
Josh (Knoxville)
Why isn't Gerald Riggs Jr. here playing for the south??
Senior Bowl's Vic Knight (3:12 PM)
The roster was developed during the season. Invitations were extended to players who were not only healthy but were considered top prospects at their position. Riggs is an outstanding player who has a great future in the NFL.
Matt
Do you try to pick talent evenly from the main conferences or do you just pick players regardless?
Senior Bowl's Vic Knight (3:14 PM)
We just pick players regardless of where they are from. The NFL certainly doesn't care where a player is from as long as he can play. We share that same philosophy. Most years there are several players here from smaller, non-1A schools. This year we only have one player that fits that criteria in David Pittman from Northwestern State. That's a little unusual for us.
Wade (Nashville)
What or whom do you credit the success of selling out the last 12 Senior Bowls?
Senior Bowl's Vic Knight (3:16 PM)
We have a five person full-time staff that works year-round which is what it takes to be successful financially in marketing the game not only to fans but also corporations, sponsors, etc. Also the tremendous passion for football in the South and specifically in South Alabama where there is such interest in these players that people in our area really support our event.
Chris (West Palm Beach, FL)
Have you ever considered moving the Senior Bowl site? To say, Fort Lauderdale or Miami, Florida where it is a bit warmer?
Senior Bowl's Vic Knight (3:18 PM)
The game originated in Jacksonville, FL in 1950 and moved here one year later. The support we get in terms of being able to sell out each year and the recent upgrades to the facility where we play and practice .. Ladd-Peebles Stadium .. have been instrumental to allow us to keep growing the game in all facets. Consequently, there is absolutely no interest in moving the game to any other location.
Mark (Memphis)
Hi Vic, Over your time with the Senior Bowl, who are a couple of the most exciting players that you personally saw perform in your game?
Senior Bowl's Vic Knight (3:21 PM)
In the game, one of the single best performances was Blair Thomas in 1990. He was unstoppable. I think he had 130 yards on 11 carries. Philip Rivers two years ago probably had the best single quarter in the history of the game. He was lights out in the second quarter. From a defensive standpoint, Derrick Brooks in 1995 was dominating. He was MVP of the game and really stood out amongst Steve McNair, Curtis Martin, Kerry Collins, etc. He was a dominant defensive player in a game with great offensive stars. Also, LaDainian Tomlinson in 2001. You could tell by watching that game he was going to be a special NFL player.
jackson (talladega al)
why is jay cutler playing for the north while is from the south?
Senior Bowl's Vic Knight (3:23 PM)
The goal of the Senior Bowl is to have as many of the top senior draft prospects as possible at each position. This year, the abundance of position at the QB position was primarly at schools in the South. In order to make the Senior Bowl as valuable as possible to the NFL, we have to have the best players here. This year that's just the way the talent at that position fell.
Jerry (Dania Beach)
If you had #1 pick in the draft.. Bush, Leinart or Young???
Senior Bowl's Vic Knight (3:24 PM)
I'm glad I'm not a GM in the NFL. That's a very very difficult decision.
John (manhattan beach CA)
How do you get to become a Senior Bowl Executive?
Senior Bowl's Vic Knight (3:27 PM)
I had a journalism background in college and have always worked in sports. I was fortunate enough to meet someone who worked for the Senior Bowl. One thing just let to another. In sports, it's not always what you know but who you know.
R. A. Gotto (Dyersville, IA)
Are you related to Bob Knight?
Senior Bowl's Vic Knight (3:28 PM)
No relation. Certainly get that question a lot, though. Although we have met.
Jeremy (Turlock, CA)
If Tennessee and SF are the coaching staffs, did NFL teams that pick before them in the draft decline to coach in the game?
Senior Bowl's Vic Knight (3:30 PM)
As part of our agreement with the league with those staffs that draft first, you obviously have to take into account any changes that may have occurred with those staffs. So with changes in Houston and New Orleans and Green Bay, which had picks 1, 2 and 5, they were simply eliminated from possibly coaching the game because they didn't have full coaching staffs.
Mike (Memphis)
With all of the Hurricanes this past summer, did the stadium suffer any damage?
Senior Bowl's Vic Knight (3:30 PM)
Minimal. It was a tremendously devastating storm for our entire area and surrounding communities, but the stadium for the most part came through OK.
john
are there alternate palyers available to fill spots if injuries occur during the practice sessions
Senior Bowl's Vic Knight (3:32 PM)
There are players we are aware of in case the situation occurs. But not necessarily guys standing by the phone waiting for a call. Thanks for the questions. I appreciate everyone's interest in the game. Be sure to watch on ESPN on Saturday at 4 p.m. ET!
Buzzmaster (3:35 PM)
Thanks, Vic!
Andrew
Whos on next Buzz?
Buzzmaster (3:39 PM)
Workin' on it. Stay tuned.
R. Anthony (Dubuque)
Any food being eaten right now Buzz?
Buzzmaster (3:40 PM)
No. We finished off the apple cobbler from the Little Kitchen. Holding off until tonight. Still haven't nailed down a dinner locale yet. Suggestions are welcome.
Buzzmaster (3:41 PM)
Hold on. Going to cruise the lobby again real quick.
Buzzmaster (3:47 PM)
OK, it's a ghost town out there at the moment. But GameDay Buzz is here and he's been scoping out practice all week. GameDay, you finished your apple cobbler yet?
GameDay Buzz (3:48 PM)
Saving the cobbler for later. Still digesting the chicken fried steak, blackeyed peas and mashed taters.
Carini, Burlington
What is the word on Charlie Whitehurst
GameDay Buzz (3:49 PM)
He's looked OK, but not great. He throws a tight spiral, but accuracy has been an issue. He could fall to Day 2 in the draft.
Big Kid (Nashville)
Buzz & GD Buzz: Been to the Do Drop Inn?
GameDay Buzz (3:50 PM)
Is the Senior Bowl played in Mobile? Our second visit is scheduled for Saturday.
Bryant (Tuscaloosa)
BRODIE!! BRODIE!! BRODIE!!! DEMECO!! DEMECO!!! ROMAN!!! ROMAN!! FREDDIE!!! FREDDIE!!! MARK!!! MARK!!!
GameDay Buzz (3:51 PM)
So, you like Bama.
bryan br, la
Where do you project skylar green to fall?
GameDay Buzz (3:52 PM)
Green's been very quiet here. Buzz around practice has him falling into Day 2.
Alan (Pullman, WA)
How has Jerome Harrison been doing this week?
GameDay Buzz (3:53 PM)
Harrison has looked great to me. He shows tremendous quickness. Scouts seem to question his ability to catch. Most project him in the third or fourth rounds.
Jaque Strappe (Paris)
I hate Lance Armstrong!
GameDay Buzz (3:54 PM)
Thanks for sharing.
Rich(Phx)
How has Derek Hagan looked this week?
GameDay Buzz (3:55 PM)
Biggest complaint on Hagan is the number of drops he's had.
Russ (Iowa)
Has Chad Greenway been as good as advertised?
GameDay Buzz (3:56 PM)
LB is one of the toughest areas to grade during the practices -- or that's what the scouting experts tell me. But yes, Greenway has been impressive.
Hardley (New York)
How is Tye Hill looking in the practices?
GameDay Buzz (3:57 PM)
He's been one of the biggest stars. Look for Mel Kiper to sing his praises in his story tomorrow.
Tony Tampa
How has Eric Winston looked?
GameDay Buzz (3:59 PM)
Some good. Some bad. He needs to step it up in Saturday's game.
Kristin (Huntington Beach, CA)
GD Buzz, I think MRob is getting an unfair rap here. What do you think? Wait til you see him in the game on Saturday! He is a clutch player.
GameDay Buzz (4:00 PM)
Some players do perform better in games. DRob certainly better. His accuracy has been a big issue during the practice sessions.
GameDay Buzz (4:02 PM)
Buzz update: The great and powerful Buzz in napping on a couch in the media room.
Brian (Houston)
Where do place see Ced Griffin, Jon Scott, and Will Allen in the draft?
GameDay Buzz (4:03 PM)
Griffin has had a better week than the two linemen. Ced should be drafted late on Day 1. Couple of the player who work out with Michael Huff have raved about his ability.
Big Tom (East Lansing)
Who do you think has proved himself the most on the field this week and jumped to a higher pick in april?
GameDay Buzz (4:05 PM)
Tye Hill and Dominique Byrd.
Matt- Bordentown NJ
if a player plays well in the game but not in practice do you think it'll affect him and his draftability? to me (and AI) all this practice stuff is irrelevant if he plays well in a game setting.
GameDay Buzz (4:06 PM)
It would help, but practice is the key here at the Senior Bowl.
Matt lubbock TX
are you saying jon scott wont be a first round pick?
GameDay Buzz (4:07 PM)
Doesn't look like it. He could fall to Day 2.
Tacquasia (Bronx)
Yo homie, who's the best RB there?
GameDay Buzz (4:08 PM)
DeAngelo Williams. The kid is good!
Teddy ( Coral Gables)
Kelly Jennings has had a good week at the Senior Bowl. Where do you see him drafted?
GameDay Buzz (4:09 PM)
Second or third round.
Dave (Hollywood)
What can you tell us about Marcedes Lewis? Is his stock rising/falling/same?
GameDay Buzz (4:12 PM)
Round 2 for Lewis.
Gotto (Dubuque)
Who would you take-Reggie or LenDale?
GameDay Buzz (4:13 PM)
Reggie
Matt (Lubbock TX)
How big of a role does a players personality play in their draft status? Seems like we hear alot about the quality of players characters
GameDay Buzz (4:15 PM)
It plays a big role, but talent is the main ingredient scouts are looking for. The staffs here spend a lot of time talking to the players. Character definitely matters.
Brad (Albuquerque)
It was awesome to talk to Hank Baskett the other day..how has he looked out there?
GameDay Buzz (4:17 PM)
His stock is falling. Baskett hasn't had a great week of practice. He's had a tough time adjusting to the level of completition -- or so think many scouts.
Al Gore (DC)
I invented the internet.
GameDay Buzz (4:17 PM)
And your comment was posted by GameDay Buzz.
Mike (Waynesville)
Gameday Buzz, Can you tell me what qb really helped himself this week?
GameDay Buzz (4:18 PM)
Croyle. Cutler was on most team's radar already.
Jeramy (TX)
G-Buzz how about the big Brick Layer he is the real deal on the line huh!
GameDay Buzz (4:19 PM)
Definitely the real deal. Everyone has been raving about him this week. He shut down Mathias Kiwanuka most of the week.
Greg, Louisville
That was a good question. Can you tell us what QB has hurt himself this week?
GameDay Buzz (4:20 PM)
Robinson.
tony (canada)
I keep hearing Gabe Watson is doing well-what are your thoughts on him?
GameDay Buzz (4:23 PM)
To my untrained eyes, he's done well. Watson has collapsed the pocket many times during the week. Scouts are projecting him to fall in Round 2.
Mat (Scottsdale, AZ)
Any celebrities there?
GameDay Buzz (4:23 PM)
Buzz
GameDay Buzz (4:25 PM)
I'm going to take a quick sweep around the lobby to look for players.
GameDay Buzz (4:28 PM)
Tye Hill, Deuce Lutui and Dominique Byrd are being rounded up by the Senor Bowl staff. Meetings are ending soon, so some players will be joining us shortly.
Sweet Pete (Pittsburgh, PA)
Of all the sportswriters from all the major sources reporting from Mobile this week, you've been way harder on Michael Robinson than anyone else - but you haven't explained why. From what I've read, Norm Chow disagrees with you.
GameDay Buzz (4:31 PM)
You should hear the scouts talk about him. I actually heard a rep from an NFL team suggest to Robinson's agent that he put time in at other positions.
GameDay Buzz (4:32 PM)
Honestly, the difference between Robinson and the other QBs has been pretty significant. He will have another opportunity to show what he can do in Saturday's game.
steve
Buzz isnt a talent evaluator, he just tells you what others tell him
GameDay Buzz (4:33 PM)
Very true.
Chris (Boston)
I hear Kiwanuka has been struggling. You see him still in the 1st round?
GameDay Buzz (4:34 PM)
Mel Kiper does. He's struggled, but his athletic ability is evident.
Primetime(Airborne)
Whos has the biggest mouth at senior bowl?
GameDay Buzz (4:36 PM)
Don't know who has the biggest mouth, but DeAngelo Williams was the most fun to talk to. He's a funny, kid with an engaging personality.
Peyton (Indy)
CUT THAT MEAT!
GameDay Buzz (4:37 PM)
Great ad.
Tyler (San Diego)
How has former blackshirt Daniel Bullocks played this week? Where do you see him going in the draft?
GameDay Buzz (4:38 PM)
Many scouts, and Kiper, have been impressed by Bullocks this week. He's helped himself.
GameDay Buzz (4:39 PM)
OK boys and girls. Buzz is taking over. Thanks for the questions.
Buzzmaster (4:43 PM)
Howdy.
Buzzmaster (4:50 PM)
We'll have more guys coming through here shortly. The South practice is winding up.
Mat (Scottsdale, AZ)
I'd love to be able to take a nap during work Buzz.
Buzzmaster (4:54 PM)
What, you don't? Thought everyone did.
Buzzmaster (4:57 PM)
The South guys are getting back to the hotel .. so things should pick up here soon.
Gus (Dubuque)
Buzzmaster, is Chad Greenway on the south?? Probably not, but since Jay Cutler is on the opposite team, ya never know?
Buzzmaster (5:03 PM)
Greenway is on the North squad. We're trying to get him on today.
Jeremy Charlotte, NC
BRODIE BRODIE BRODIE!
Buzzmaster (5:06 PM)
Trying to get him as well. He's getting the superstar treatment this week with security guards and everything. So he's hard to get to. But we're trying.
Jon (Mobile)
Don't worry, Buzz. I got your back. 11 SACKS 11 SACKS 11 SACKS! That should get rid of the Brodie Roadies.
Hudge (Atlanta)
Why does Brodie need security? Afraid he's gonna get sacked by Auburn's D-Line again?
Daniel (Nashville)
Who's got the bigger entourage, Brodie or Mel Kiper?
Buzzmaster (5:13 PM)
Let's put it this way .. Brodie has the more attractive enterouge.
Harry (Indianapolis)
Wow, Buzz. You're really letting the barn fans go off on Brodie. Shouldn't they be busy throwing hayrides for fake national championship trophies right now?
Jon (Mobile)
Tell Harry of Indianapolis that we tried that but the Bammers have been taking forever parading their fakes.
Buzzmaster (5:26 PM)
Va. Tech RB Cedric Humes is on his way.
Cedric Humes (5:27 PM)
Hello everyone.
Josh (KY)
Humes, have you any idea where you will be drafted?
Cedric Humes (5:28 PM)
No idea. I've been hearing that I'm a first day guy. But that's all I know.
Eddie (Lynchburg, VA)
I know your not coming back but how do you feel about marcus vick getting kicked off the team? was he a good leader in the locker room?
Cedric Humes (5:28 PM)
He did turn out to be a good leader so it's disappointing he won't be back. But I can't say much about it because I'm not there anymore on campus and I don't know how they are taking it.
Jared, Traverse City
Cedric how does it feel to play for a team named the "Hokies". and what excatly is a "Hokie" I heard its a bird?
Cedric Humes (5:29 PM)
I don't know exactly. But I did hear lots of definitions. There is no short answer to that question!
Mike (Florence, MS)
Have you been given any helpful advice from the NFL folks there in Mobile?
Cedric Humes (5:30 PM)
The best piece of advice was to take my time and talk to everyone and get input from everyone. This is just the beginning of a long process.
Hantes (Rochester, NY)
What is your favorite type of ice cream?
Cedric Humes (5:30 PM)
Vanilla. That's the best. Can't go wrong.
Stephen (Columbia, SC)
Cedric, what is Frank Beamer like? I've heard he's a great guy as well as a great coach.
Cedric Humes (5:30 PM)
He's a laid back guy. He's very uptight with his special teams, though! But he's a cool guy to be around.
Tony from Louisville
I was wondering who are some of the players who have impressed you this week in practice?
Cedric Humes (5:31 PM)
To tell you the truth, Darryl Tapp really impressed me. I knew he was a good player but he really proved himself this week.
Chris (Blacksburg, VA)
Cedric... Any current injuries holding you back now? How do you think your past injuries will affect your draft status?
Cedric Humes (5:31 PM)
No injuries at all. I'm fully healthy.
Carl
better quarterback, Cutler or Croyle?
Cedric Humes (5:32 PM)
I really have been paying attention to Cutler and he has been looking really good.
chauncey (teaneck)
Do you wish you could take back any moment in your college carrer?
Cedric Humes (5:32 PM)
Probably in the spring of '04 when I broke my leg.
Cedric Humes (5:33 PM)
But things like that always make you into a better player in the long run.
pete (Columbus, OH)
Who is the best rapper on the team?
Cedric Humes (5:33 PM)
I haven't heard too many of them rap ... now singing, I've heard plenty of them try to sing. The best was Brian Randall. He can actually sing.
Daniel (Nashville)
Hi Cedric, wouldn't it be cool to be named D'Brickashaw?
Cedric Humes (5:34 PM)
The only way I can answer that is to know if I grew up with it. Hearing it now, It's not something I would want. But I havent' been through what he's been through.
Matt (Minneapolis)
Do you have an agent yet?
Cedric Humes (5:35 PM)
Yes. I do. It was a process like trying to pick a college. I interviewed them all to see who was the best for me.
Jared, Traverse City
Who would you compare yourself to in the NFL right now? oh yeah and Seattle or Pittsburg?
Cedric Humes (5:36 PM)
I'm not picking anyone! I've heard a lot of comparisons to Priest Holmes. I'll take that!
Josh (KY)
Did you interview Drew Rosenhaus?
Cedric Humes (5:36 PM)
I introduced myself and said a few words. It wasn't a really long conversation. It was cool to talk to somebody you see on TV so much.
Cole from jersey
Who have you really clicked with down there?
Cedric Humes (5:37 PM)
I've actually clicked with Victor Adeyanju. We've become pretty cool and talked a lot.
Grant (Cooperstown, ND)
Did any of agents completely turn you off? Thanks
Cedric Humes (5:37 PM)
One agent felt they could do great things for me but they didn't follow up or call me.
julian (santa rosa)
do yall play any basketball while you are downt here?
Cedric Humes (5:38 PM)
I haven't played down here. But I love playing basketball. I almost played basketball but found out I was better at football.
Daniel (Nashville)
Which is more fun, juking a defender and running by him, or running over him?
Cedric Humes (5:39 PM)
The most fun is running him over. There is just something fun about running right over a guy and to keep going.
Grant (Cooperstown, ND)
How do you rate the food there. Seems that it's pretty good.. Any access to junk food. (McDon...and etc. Thanks
Cedric Humes (5:39 PM)
The food they have been feeding us is really good. Very good actually. Lots of chicken.
Chris (State College, PA)
Do you see yourself making an immediate impact in the NFL like a Cadillac Williams?
Cedric Humes (5:40 PM)
Yes. I can. Just because I'm such a complete back.
TR Coles (Blacksburg)
Is Connor Donovan the best golfer you've ever seen?
Cedric Humes (5:40 PM)
Couldn't tell you. I watch a little golf, but not much.
Brandon (NY )
whose the best overall player down their in your opinion
Cedric Humes (5:41 PM)
I can't give a best overall. Everyone here is so talented. Going up against them, it's hard to shine as much as you want.
Jon (Mobile)
Who is the best defensive player you've ever played against?
Cedric Humes (5:42 PM)
I would say D'Qwell Jackson. He really impressed me.
Kelvin (Dallas,TX)
What players did you look up to as a kid?
Cedric Humes (5:42 PM)
I looked up to Jim Brown. People say he was before my time but I watched a lot of film on him.
William (Alabama)
Have you seen Brodie's cult following yet?
Cedric Humes (5:43 PM)
He's on the other team so I'm not sure.
RGott (D-Ville)
What's your favorite junk food?
Cedric Humes (5:44 PM)
To tell you the truth, even as a kid I didn't eat junk food. I was a fat kid so I was always wanting real food. Thanks for the questions. I appreciate the support!
Buzzmaster (5:49 PM)
Thanks, Cedric! OK, Chad Greenway is on his way.
Ben (Dyersville, IA)
Hey Buzz, who's the most entertaining football player you've met at the Senior bowl?
Buzzmaster (5:50 PM)
DeAngelo Williams. Hands down.
Buzzmaster (5:55 PM)
Chad is here!
Chad Greenway (5:55 PM)
How's it going?
Jason (Brownsville, TX)
Chad which NFL linebacker do you compare your game to the most?
Chad Greenway (5:55 PM)
Brian Urlacher.
Will (Ashland, VA)
what was your highlight of you time at iowa?
Chad Greenway (5:56 PM)
The Capital One Bowl win over LSU.
Peter (Tenn)
Hey Chad what was the best hit you have laid on a guy throughout your college career?
Chad Greenway (5:57 PM)
My sophomore year, the first game I ever started. On an INT return I knocked the cleats off one of the receivers.
Justin (Rogersville, AL)
If you could be any kind of animal, what would you be and why?
Chad Greenway (5:57 PM)
A lion. They are hunters and always attacking. They are the most aggressive animal.
Ross (Atlanta, GA)
Which team did you not get to play against in college that you would have liked to have?
Chad Greenway (5:58 PM)
Texas. Just because they have been good all four years I was in college. We were at the top of our game as well so it would have been nice to play them.
Gotto (Dyersville, IA)
Chad, why aren't you on facebook anymore?
Chad Greenway (5:59 PM)
Privacy.
Peter (Tenn)
What has been the most difficult part of the week? Interviews or Practices?
Chad Greenway (5:59 PM)
Practices. You always have to be on the top of your game against the best competition.
NFL Coach
Hi Chad. I am in charge of my team's draft and I can't decide who to pick. Should I draft you? If so, why?
Chad Greenway (6:00 PM)
Because I am a LB who can do it all. I can cover like a DB, but I can be physical in the box and play all three positions. Or a 3-4.
Max (Oakland)
Are you under a lot of pressure?
Chad Greenway (6:01 PM)
No. It's a fun game and it should be played with no pressure.
joe ha (oregon)
Chad, do you regret not going out last year to the draft?
Chad Greenway (6:02 PM)
No. I don't regret it.
Russ (Dubuque)
Did you ever have to go up against Robert Gallery in practice? What was that like?
Chad Greenway (6:02 PM)
All the time. He's the best player I've ever played against.
Matt : TH
Who is a better all around LB you or AJ Hawk?
Chad Greenway (6:03 PM)
AJ is a great player. I wouldn't ever want to undermine what he has accomplished. But we have similar games.
Mike (Sudbury, MA)
Who is the fastest running back youve had to go up against?
Chad Greenway (6:04 PM)
Brian Calhoun at Wisconsin.
R. Anthony (Loras)
Do you ever feel like a celebrity when roaming the streets of Iowa City?
Chad Greenway (6:04 PM)
Not at all.
Detroit, MI
Which celebrity would you want to meet before or after a game?
Chad Greenway (6:05 PM)
I don't want to meet any celebrities. I would want to meet .... hmm ... how about Simon Cowell?
Ross (Atlanta, GA)
What makes Kirk Ferentz such a good coach?
Chad Greenway (6:07 PM)
He keeps things simple. And he knows how to control the tempo of a game.
Vic (Miami)
can you sing?
Chad Greenway (6:07 PM)
I can sing country music.
Simon Cowell (Hollywood)
That was rubbish, absolutely rubbish. Happy?
Ryan (Bettendorf, IA)
Chad, do you see yourself going back to farm life someday?
Chad Greenway (6:08 PM)
No. I can't see that.
Bob (Iowa CIty)
How's the golf game?
Chad Greenway (6:09 PM)
Improving.
Ryan (
Chad, you still plan on being in Dubuque this weekend?
Chad Greenway (6:11 PM)
As far as I know. As long as my flight plans stay the same. Thanks for the questions!
Buzzmaster (6:11 PM)
Thanks, Chad! USC OL Deuce Lutui is coming up!
Buzzmaster (6:18 PM)
Deuce had a problem with his room key and is having to get that straightened out but he will be here shortly.
Stephen (Columbia, SC)
Will there be a chat tommorrow? From what times?
Buzzmaster (6:23 PM)
We'll kick things off at 1 ET with Mel Kiper. We'll also have Todd McShay and hopefully Ivan Maisel and Chris Spielman. We won't have access to playes tomorrow.
drew (Boise)
Why doesn't Deuce just knock down the door?
Buzzmaster (6:23 PM)
Good question. Ask him when he gets here.
Jeff (Notre Dame)
Will we have a chance to chat with Maurice Stovall?
Buzzmaster (6:28 PM)
He was here yesterday. Nice guy.
Mandy (Albany, GA)
Any chance for Brodie?
Buzzmaster (6:31 PM)
We've been trying all week but no luck so far. It's like trying to schedule an interview with the President or something.
Lacey (Nashville, TN)
Ah, you just answered my question. Thanks for trying. :) Be nice to Brodie, he's my future husband and all.
Buzzmaster (6:33 PM)
Good to know.
Chris (Washington, DC)
So Buzz, if we had a combine for ESPN personalities who would be the most impressive. Based on that judgement, who would you take first in a draft of ESPN personalities?
Buzzmaster (6:40 PM)
Good question. Hmm.. I might go with Tim Kurkjian. Knows baseball inside and out, amazingly easy to work with, one of the nicest guys you will ever meet, accomodating, funny, great on TV and radio, etc. But there are plenty of candidates for No. 1.
Ryan (Algoma, Wisconsin)
There's been a lot of speculation about you coming to Green Bay. Would you be able to handle the cold weather?
Buzzmaster (6:45 PM)
Yes. I can handle anything. Bring it on.
Louis (San Mateo, CA)
Ha - that's great, Buzz! I'd probably go with Gammons. Have you ever seen this site that does random fantasy drafts of non-sports stuff? It's at fantasydrafts.blogspot.com - check it out, you don't have to post it.
Buzzmaster (6:45 PM)
Yes. The fantasy vegetable draft is great. Avocodo was taken first!
Buzzmaster (6:49 PM)
We're sticking around a little longer hoping to get another player or two. You guys are great for sticking around. Sorry we didn't have more guys come through today.
Shawn (Oakland)
so did you decided on what to do for dinner tonight?
Buzzmaster (6:53 PM)
Not yet. That chicken fried steak from lunch is keeping me pretty full! But we'll hit something good tonight for sure.
Buzzmaster (6:59 PM)
Folks, everyone seems to have cleared out of here. Sorry we couldn't track down Brodie but we couldn't penetrate the multiple layers to get to him. Be sure to check out the chat wrap from Tuesday (http://proxy.espn.go.com/chat/chatESPN?event_id=10518) and Wednesday (http://proxy.espn.go.com/chat/chatESPN?event_id=10519) to see if your favorite player stopped by.
Buzzmaster (7:00 PM)
And don't forget that we will be back tomorrow with Mel Kiper at 1 ET!
