Welcome to The Show! On Wednesday, ESPN Deportes' Ernesto Jerez will join us in chat.

Jerez, who has served as commentator for a variety of sports since joining ESPN International in 1995, plays a prominent role in ESPN's Spanish-language telecasts of Major League Baseball. Jerez calls play-by-play for both ESPN's Major League Baseball coverage throughout Latin America and ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball telecasts on ESPN Deportes, the Spanish-language network in the United States.

Jerez began his career at ESPN as anchor of SportsCenter: International Edition. Through the years, he has also provided play-by-play for ESPN International's Spanish-language coverage of the NBA, WNBA, and NCAA basketball. Jerez has called three MLB All-Star Games and four World Series.

Jerez graduated from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in the Dominican Republic with a bachelor of arts degree in business in 1991. He then went on to study broadcast journalism and graduated from the Northeast Broadcast School in Boston in 1995.
