Toney is preparing to fight for the WBC heavyweight title against world champion Hasim Rahman, Saturday, March 18 at 10 p.m. ET, live on HBO from Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.
Toney enters the ring with an astounding record of 69-4-2, with 43 KOs. He has not lost a bout since 1997, a string of 16 fights without losing (15 wins and one no decision). In world championship fights, Toney has a record of 11-1-1 and one no decision against John Ruiz, when he tested positive for steroids in a post fight drug test.
Toney last fought on Oct. 1, 2005 when he defeated Dominick Quinn in 12 rounds in Reno.
