Twice in this tourney we've seen a star player go down and writh in pain and cry. They had to be carried off the court. The first one was because of the cramp and the second was a twisted ankle. Hard to respect the game when their players are babies about everything.

First, Tolliver has to put the ball inside. I don't have a stat sheet in front of me but the last one I had she had 8 shots and Langhorn had 1. They struggle when Tolliver takes more shots. That means they are not establishing the inside. Last I looked, Duke had outscored them 14-8 in the paint. That is not a good sign.

I'm surprised they haven't tried to get the ball to Crystal more. Goestenkors has a great gameplan to shut Maryland down. They have totally taken away Maryland's shots. Maryland is being outrebounded, beaten in the paint, etc. They are losing almost every category.

They are going to be able to do that but that means Perry can't stay down low because the post to post is too close to the doubleteam. Laura Harper has got to come to the high post and get her help. This is where you have to really read the situation and adapt. Harper has to make that 15ft jumper and make Duke pick their poison.

Harding. She is amazing. She has 13 pts in 18 minutes and 2 turnovers. Currie is having a great game, but Harding is playing fearless right now. She is not tight, not scared, she's just embracing the moment as I would expect her to do.

I think Maryland is the more physical of the two actually. Duke is more finesse. I would rather defer to letting the refs let them play than call it tight and give ticky tack fouls. The players would rather have it that way as well. Enjoy the second half. I know Maryland will give it all they have. Brenda has some adjustments and take away that double-team or at least make them pay for it!
