Weatherspoon finished a terrific collegiate career with Louisiana Tech before going on to star in the WNBA with the New York Liberty and Los Angeles Sparks. She's also a two-time Olympian, winning gold in 1988 and bronze in 1992.
Weatherspoon averaged 5.3 assists per game for her career. From 1998-2000, she averaged a career-high 6.4 apg each season. She sits second on the WNBA's all-time assist list with 1,338 assists.
