Cooper began his professional career when he signed a three-year contract with the Manchester United after he finished high school in 2003. He signed with Dallas in February. In 16 games this season, Cooper has scored six goals and has one assist. Cooper's father Kenny, Sr. was a goalkeeper on the Dallas Tornado of the NASL.
