A veteran of 10 NFL seasons with the Lions and Bills, Spielman made four Pro Bowl appearances before retiring following the 1998 season. A master of punishing opposing running backs, Spielman will now dole out discipline as the house dad for ESPNU's new series.
The premise of "Summer House" is simple: Put six incoming freshman football players from diverse backgrounds in the same house to compete against each other in competitions aimed at determining the "Big Man on Campus."
