Thursday. questions were raised about Landis' Tour victory when it was announced Landis tested positive for high amounts of testosterone after Stage 17, when he started his remarkable comeback.
In 1986, LeMond became the first American to win the Tour de France. He won the event two more times, in 1989 and 1990, to become one of only eight cyclists to win the Tour three or more times.
