Welcome to The Show! On Wednesday, former Philadelphia Eagles special teams player, Vince Papale, will stop by to chat about his incredible story that is being told in the new movie Invincible, opening Friday, August 25.

In 1976, Papale, then 30, was a substitute teacher and part-time bartender. Despite having never played college football, Papale decided to attend an open tryout with the Philadelphia Eagles. He won the respect of the coaches and a spot on the team. Papale spent three years in the NFL, all with the Eagles.

In the movie, Papale is played by veteran film actor Mark Wahlberg.
