The No. 2 overall pick in the 2003 MLS SuperDraft by the MetroStars, Clark was a finalist for MLS Rookie of the Year before moving on and truly hitting his stride as a member of the Quakes last season. Clark has continued to emerge as one of the league's best defensive midfielders this season, starting 23 games for Houston and contributng two goals in additon to stellar play all over the field.
