Welcome to The Show! On Thursday, Kansas City Wizards defender Jimmy Conrad will stop by to chat about MLS and soccer.

Conrad is a member of the U.S. national team, making nine appearances this year, including two this past summer in the World Cup - against Italy and Ghana.

Conrad is playing in his eighth season in the MLS, having started in 11 of the 12 games in which he's played. In 2005, Conrad helped anchor the Kansas City defense that recorded seven shutouts for the season. He was named the MLS Defender of the Year. He won a college soccer championship with UCLA in 1997.
