Chat with WBA champion Nikolay Valuev
The tallest (at 7 feet) and heaviest (at 320 pounds) heavyweight ever in the sports of boxing makes his HBO debut Saturday, Oct. 7, live from the Allstate Areana in Rosemont, Ill at 10 p.m. ET.
Even with a 44-0 record, with 32 knockouts, Valuev was promoted for much of his career as a sideshow. However, he's made some serious strides establishing himself as more than just a novelty act in his last three fights. Valuev scored a unanimous decision over Larry Donald in October 2005. Then he scored another win in his first WBA title shot against John Ruiz last December. His latest win came in June when he needed just three rounds to score a TKO of Owen Beck.
Send your questions now and join Valuev right here on Tuesday at 2 p.m. ET for all the answers.
