Welcome to The Show! On Thursday, Dallas Stars center Stu Barnes joins us to chat about the NHL and the Stars' fast start to the season.

Barnes (right in picture) is tied for second on the Stars with five assists on the year and leads the team with a +6 plus/minus. Barnes and the Stars sit at 8-1-0, good for 16 points and first place in the Pacific Division and the most points in the Western Conference. Dallas has the second most points in the NHL, behind only the Buffalo Sabres' scorching 9-0-0 start.

In his 15th season in the NHL, Barnes is in his fourth season with the Stars. Last season, he scored 36 points - 15 goals and 21 assists. The 35-year-old (he was born on Christmas Day - Dec. 25, 1970) was the fourth overall selection in the 1989 draft by the Winnipeg Jets.
