Chat with Jerry Rice

Welcome to The Show! On Wednesday, former NFL player and three-time Super Bowl champion Jerry Rice will stop by for a chat.

In his NFL career, Rice set or tied 11 receiving records. He sits in second place in four other categories. Among his plethora of awards are: most career receptions (1,549), most career receiving yards (22,895), most receiving yards in a season (1,848) and most TD catches in a season (22).

Now, Rice has moved on to writing a book. His "GO LONG! My Journey Beyond the Game and the Fame" was released on Tuesday. In the book, Rice shares the inspirational lessons and his empowering story that has helped him attain success, both on and off the field.

Rice attended Mississippi Valley State and was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the first round of the 1985 NFL draft. In his 20-year football career, he was elected Rookie of the Year (1985), selected to the Pro Bowl 13 times and chosen for the NFL's 75th anniversary and all-time teams.
