Jones joined the Galaxy for their inaugural season in 1996 and has been a force at midfield ever since. In his eleven seasons with the Galaxy, Jones has scored 72 goals and registered 99 assists. Last season, the seven time All-Star started 18 games, scoring 4 goals and tallying 4 assists.
Jones has also experienced a great deal of success on the international stage, accumulating a record 164 caps with the U.S. national team. Jones played on three World Cup squads, including the 2002 team which reached the quarterfinals in Korea.
Earlier this week Jones announced that he will be retiring at the end of the season.
